Install and connect the Chrome extension

The Enlistar Chrome extension is the bridge between the browser and the AI automation engine. This page covers installation, authentication, and the permissions required for form detection.

Why the extension is important

The extension detects application forms on many ATS platforms and provides the interface needed to generate and insert answers into those forms. It also connects the browser experience to your Enlistar account.

Without the extension, you can still use the dashboard, but form detection and auto-fill capabilities will be unavailable.

Installing the extension

1. Visit the extension store page or the installation link provided on the Enlistar homepage. Click "Add to Chrome" and confirm the installation.

2. Grant the extension permission to access the websites where you will apply. This includes job boards and ATS pages so the extension can detect forms and provide autofill controls.

3. Open the extension panel and sign in with the same account you use for the dashboard. This step ensures your coins, profile, and application data are synced.

Connecting to your account

After installing the extension, you may need to sign in once more in the extension UI. Use the login button and confirm that your account name appears in the panel.

If your account does not appear, refresh the page and verify that the extension has permission to read the job application page content.

Permissions and privacy

The extension requests access to the sites where you use it so it can detect application forms and communicate with the Enlistar backend. This access is limited to job application pages and does not mean the extension has blanket access to all browsing activity.

Always verify that the extension is enabled only when you are applying for jobs, and disable it on sites where you do not want form detection behavior.

Common setup checks

  • Confirm the extension is enabled in Chrome's extensions list.
  • Allow access to the website where you are filling out a job application form.
  • Use the same email account in the extension as in the dashboard.
  • Refresh the job page if the form detection panel does not appear immediately.

Troubleshooting installation issues

If the extension fails to install, ensure your browser is up to date and that you are installing from the correct source. Disable conflicting extensions and retry if the install prompt does not appear.

If you still encounter issues, restart Chrome and check Chrome's extension settings for any blocked permissions.
